Your signed consent prior to your appointment confirms your understanding and agreement to the below policies for all grooming services. It is understood and agreed the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed contracts or releases.

What type of grooming set-up is Paws and Relax Studio?We are a home-based, one-on-one grooming studio. I have transformed my garage into a professional, safe, and no crating style environment. I have found this type of environment gives many pets the true opportunity to relax on a day that may be stressful for them. They have the freedom to roam the studio safely, explore their environment at their pace, drink water, play with toys, and relax on a cozy cot while they wait to be picked up!

Where are you located?We are a home-based grooming studio located near Downtown Livermore. As this is a residential address it is not displayed publicly. You will receive the address once you have booked an appointment and signed the Location Acknowledgment. If you are still in need of the address please send us a message prior to your appointment at (325) 475-4831.

What type of payments do we take?We accept Debit/Credit card, Cash, or Apple pay. *Credit cards and Apple Pay are subject to processing Fees*

What vaccination records do you require?We require an up to date Rabies vaccination certificate for all pups 4 months and up. We prefer, but do not require a Rabies vaccination for cats as we understand many cats are indoor only. The Rabies certificate CANNOT be hand written and MUST have the following: vet's name, type of vaccination, date vaccination was given, and date of expiration of vaccine. Prior to your appointment, you will have the ability to upload your Rabies Certificate directly online. If you are having issues with this function, please send us a message at (325) 475-4831.

What is our rescheduling/cancellation policy?Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice. We understand certain uncontrollable circumstances may arise although we do ask that you contact us as soon as possible if this is the case. (325) 475-4831 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so or if you are a "no show" (considered after 15 minutes of scheduled appointment time). Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.

How long will my appointment take?Durations are based of breed and coat condition, below are general time frames. Bath only Service's are give or take 1-2 hours. Partial Service's are give or take 1.5-3 hours Full Service's are give or take 2-3.5 hours.

Will I receive an appointment reminder?Yes. Our system is set to send reminder text messages 7 days, 4 days, and 2 days prior to your appointment. if you have entered your email, you will receive the same reminders at the same intervals there. Don't forget to check your spam inbox! Please note if you have confirmed your appointment at the 7 or 4 day reminder, you may not receive an additional reminder for your grooming appointment.

Senior/Military discount10% off for seniors 65+ and military members with valid identification can be applied to any full service (i.e Bath only Service, Partial Service, Full Service)
